Santa Comes to Rosslyn

Free Photos with Santa and Children's Storytime Part of Rosslyn Holiday Market Festival

Take a break from the weekday grind and plan a fun holiday outing for your family at the Rosslyn Holiday Market Festival. Thursday evening, December 10, will be a great time for families to attend the market, which is open until 6:00 p.m. There will be activities sure to please adults and kids.

First, head to our photo booth to have your little one's photo taken with Santa. From 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Santa will be presiding over the festival from our open-air photo booth. Our attendant will help you get situated for your child's free, high-quality photo-booth strip photos with the big guy in red.

Kids of all ages -- including grown-up Rosslyn workers and residents -- are welcome to come visit with Santa and have their photos taken with him, too. The Rosslyn Santa welcomes pets, as well.

If you're able to get to the market a bit earlier, your little ones can enjoy a children's storytime by The Reading Connection. This will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, shop a wide array of unique, high-quality products and services at our festively tented market, featuring Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. business owners. The latest vendor list can be found here, and we're still adding more. Enjoy sparkling lights and festive music while you shop.

Last but not least, skip cooking dinner that night and feast on a delicious meal prepared by one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants, Bistro 360. They'll be cooking up their tasty cuisine from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the market. There will be plenty of outdoor seating, too, so you and your family can relax and enjoy.

Gateway Park, the site of the market, is equipped with full public restrooms near the seating area. There is ample metered street parking near Gateway Park and plenty of garage parking. The market is a short walk from the Rosslyn Metro.

We hope you'll join us for some low-stress, low-cost family holiday fun!
