Rosslyn BID launches Rosslyn Blog

New Blog to be the Interactive Voice of the People of Rosslyn, Virginia

Rosslyn, Va. – Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID) today announces the launch of the Rosslyn Blog, www.rosslynblog.org. The Rosslyn Blog will be the interactive voice of the people who live, work and play in Rosslyn, Va.

As consumers continue to turn to non-traditional news sources, creating a blog for the Rosslyn community is a natural progression. The Rosslyn Blog will serve as a news hub for events and activities managed by the Rosslyn BID, as well as a source for programs and initiatives in the community developed by the local residents, businesses and governments.

“Rosslyn BID is committed to serving the needs of our thriving, urbane city, and the Rosslyn Blog is another way to engage our community,” said Cecilia Cassidy, executive director, Rosslyn BID. “We welcome readership, feedback and even guest writing on our new platform, and hope that residents, area-colleagues and visitors alike will find it useful and informative.”

The Rosslyn Blog is accessible at www.rosslynblog.org. The content will be as diverse as the people that make up the community, but will offer reoccurring features including:

• Focus On – An in depth, behind the scenes look at Rosslyn attractions and destinations
• Update on Rosslyn – At a glance list of events and ongoings in Rosslyn
• Faces of Rosslyn – Profiles on Rosslyn personalities including residents, business leaders and county officials.
