The Rosslyn BID’s 2011 Outdoor Film Festival Begins April 29

Rosslyn, VA - The 2011 Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival returns on April 29 for another summer of cinematic celebration at Gateway Park in Rosslyn, Va. This year’s film festival will celebrate Saturday night, one day early, by showcasing movies every Friday night that star “Saturday Night Live” performers. Highlights include “When Harry Met Sally,” “Anchorman,” “Mean Girls,” “Groundhog Day,” “Vacation,” and “Shrek” and will run between April 29 and August 26.
The film festival is free and open to the public. Films begin at dusk, approximately 8:00 pm each Friday night, and movie-goers are encouraged to bring blankets and low chairs to picnic in the park. Attendees should arrive early for the best seating, and for pre-show games and prizes. Gateway Park is located at the foot of the Key Bridge at 1300 Lee Highway, just two blocks from the Rosslyn Metro. Parking is available for $3 across the street at the Atlantic Parking Garage at 1901 and 1911 N. Ft. Myer Drive after 6:00 p.m.
