Lighting Rosslyn's Future

The Corridor of Light is an exciting public art project that will change the look of Rosslyn through sculpture and light.  California artist Cliff Garten has designed towering steel sculptures that will be illuminated and will dot Lynn Street from Key Bridge to the Meade Street Bridge.  The project will highlight and connect the Arlington's Gateways with art, some pieces stretching 26 feet high.  The project will take years to complete and will benefit from public and private funding.

The ROSSLYN Magazine focused on the Corridor of Light in its Fall 2008 issue.

Cliff Garten traveled to Rosslyn in December 2008 to deliver models of the artwork he designed for Rosslyn.  Those models are on display for public viewing at the Rosslyn BID office.  On December 4 Garten participated in a public art conference at the Rosslyn Spectrum where he talked about the project.  The Rosslyn BID also conducted an interview with Garten during his visit.
