The 18th Annual Rosslyn Jazz Festival will take place in Gateway Park, a sylvan slice of urban greenery nestled between the sheer towers of Rosslyn and the gothic spires of Georgetown University just across Key Bridge from DC. The event has featured national acts such as Joe Henderson, Dave Valentine, Larry Coryell, James Moody, Nenenna Freelon and Ahmad Jamal, as well as favorite regional artists Juanita Williams, the late Charlie Byrd, Tim Eyermann and many others.
This year's headliners include:
- Holly Cole - Canada's '08 Juno Awardee for Best Jazz Album
- Spanish Harlem Orchestra - Grammy winners blend salsa with jazz
- Lafayette Gilchrist - Visionary pianist
- Frederic Yonnet - Renowned harmonica virtuoso
