Arlington County is hosting a free workshop that will bring together property managers from across the County to participate in a Sustainable Building needs and practices assessment. This activity will help property managers identify and prioritize environmental, social and economic needs that have the biggest impact on our buildings.

The workshop is interactive, beginning with a discussion of our Community Energy Plan. Next, all participants will use the Sustainable Buildings Solutions NavigatorTM to assess a comprehensive set of sustainability needs and practices. The workshop participants will prioritize identified needs and generate ideas on how to best address them. Finally, current issues, challenges and barriers will be shared along with an overview of financing options that are available today.

The workshop will help identify critical needs and priorities around creating sustainable buildings within our community. At the end of the session we hope to have a clearer understanding of what issues are critical to you and where we should focus our attention as we launch a green business program this Fall. You will leave with a structured understanding of your own practices and how to prioritize your needs.

Please select the day/location easiest for you and RSVP by Monday, July 26 to climate@arlingtonva.us.
