October 2010 will feature four (4) performances of Cimarosa’s rarely heard The Secret Marriage in a production staged by David Toulson and conducted by John Edward Niles. Compared to Mozart’s best comedies for its ingenuity, wit, and difficult soprano roles. In a first for the company, a winner of the prestigious Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions will lead the cast as Esther Heideman takes on the role of Carolina for the first time.
