All Jazzed Up

The 20th Annual Jazz Festival will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Details, including 2010 headliners, will be announced in early 2010.

The 19th Annual Jazz Festival was held on Saturday, September 12, 2009. A crowd of more than 5,000 supported the event and enjoyed performers Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Lafayette Gilchrist, Frederic Yonnet, and Holly Cole.

The Rosslyn Jazz Festival takes place in Gateway Park, a sylvan slice of urban greenery nestled between the sheer towers of Rosslyn and the gothic spires of Georgetown University just across Key Bridge from DC. The event has featured national acts such as Joe Henderson, Dave Valentine, Larry Coryell, James Moody, Nnenna Freelon and Ahmad Jamal, as well as favorite regional artists Juanita Williams, the late Charlie Byrd, Tim Eyermann and many others. A street Festival is located on Lee Highway and features both food and artisan vendors.

	Lafayette Gilchrist - Visionary Pianist 2:30 - 3:40 p.m.
	Frederic Yonnet - Renowned Harmonica Virtuoso 4:05 - 5:15 p.m.
	Holly Cole - Canada's '08 Juno Awardee for Best Jazz Album 5:45 - 7:00 p.m.
