Grace Kumah Banahene started Grace’s Pastries of Herndon, Virginia in 1987. Her cozy shop offers delicious bakery items, as well as gourmet foods. Grace also sells her featured breads, cookies and other fine baked goods at farmers markets and festivals throughout the northern Virginia and D.C. area.

James Smith offers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. He snagged a mention in Washingtonian magazine as one of the best vendors to purchase tomatoes from in the greater Washington area.
Terrapin Station Herb Farm - York Springs, PA
Carl Purvenas-Smith and Mark Brabazon grow organic fruits, vegetables and herbs that are recognized as Certified Naturally Grown. Terrapin Station Herb Farm, founded in 1989, is located in York Springs, Pennsylvania. Produce that does not sell at markets is made into jams, jellies or chutney.
Valdez Brothers - Colonial Beach, VA
Lucas Valdez has been farming 20 acres in Montross, Virginia, on the Eastern Shore for about eight years. His extended family is involved with the farm, including his cousin Juan Flores who comes to the Rosslyn market. Valdez Brothers sell their vegetables at farmers markets all over Virginia.
