Construction of Central Place, which includes the Observation Deck on the top floor, is expected to begin summer 2008.

Rosslyn will soon claim the first and only publicly-accessible observation deck in the Washington Metropolitan area. The observation deck is part of a one million-square foot, mixed-use development in Rosslyn known as Central Place. The project will be located directly across from the Rosslyn Metro between N. Lynn and N. Moore streets and Wilson Boulevard and 19th Street.

Visitors will arrive at the rooftop observation deck after passing through a public lobby located just off the Central Plaza, and boarding a dedicated high-speed elevator, which will whisk them immediately to the top of the building for a complete, panoramic view of Washington, DC’s monumental core and the Arlington
National Cemetery.

When completed, the observation deck is expected to draw up to 450,000
visitors annually.
