Landscaping
The BID contracts with The Brickman Group to provide enhanced beautification services, including annual flower rotations, container gardens and tree pit improvements, as well as snow removal. These ongoing projects enliven the streetscape and soften the environment. The BID now provides enhanced landscaping for over 30,000 square feet of public space, including parks and traffic islands.

Street and Sidewalk Cleaning
The BID ambassadors work hard to keep the streets of Rosslyn clean every day. In different seasons they can been seen operating a street sweeper, a sidewalk sweeper, or a high power pressure washer to remove gum and other substances that mar the sidewalks. It works!

Seasonal Banners
The BID adds color to Rosslyn’s streetscape with its four-season banner program that includes several sets of banners. They highlight the seasons and special events such as the Rosslyn Jazz Festival, Marine Corps Marathon, lunchtime concerts, and markets. BID Ambassadors install the banners on most of the area’s Carlyle light posts.
