A Helping Hand

Outreach workers from Arlington Street People's Assistance Network (A-SPAN) work with Rosslyn's homeless individuals to provide supportive services, including affordable housing and meals. The BID provides support for A-SPAN with operating funds and through the Light Up clothing drive.

UPCOMING EVENTS: ROSSLYN WALK FOR THE HOMELESS

Join the Rosslyn BID & A-SPAN in the Rosslyn Walk for the Homeless on Halloween!

Rosslyn businesses, employees, and residents are invited to join us during lunch on Halloween, October 31, to learn about homelessness in our community and then, together, take steps to end it.

Walkers will gather at The Boeing Conference Room (1200 Wilson Blvd) at 11:30 am for registration and a brief presentation on homelessness in Arlington County. Then we walk - a one-mile loop through Rosslyn - to visually display our commitment to ending homelessness.

All walkers can enjoy complimentary lunch & snacks from Rosslyn area restaurants at The Boeing Company after the walk. Register online at http://www.bitly.com/RosslynWalk or onsite the day of the walk. Registration fees and donations are 100% tax-deductible and support A-SPAN’s programs to end homelessness. All walkers receive a walk t-shirt!

Please contact A-SPAN’s Development Director, Jan-Michael Sacharko, for more information or how to get more involved:jsacharko@a-span.org or (703) 842-0154.
