Outreach workers from the Arlington Street People's Assistance Network (A-SPAN) offer supportive services to Rosslyn's homeless individuals, including meals, housing, medical care and employment assistance.The Rosslyn BID supports A-SPAN by providing operating funds and organizing the LIGHT UP Rosslyn clothing drive each winter.
UPCOMING EVENTS: ROSSLYN WALK FOR THE HOMELESS
Join the Rosslyn BID and A-SPAN for the Rosslyn Walk for the Homeless on Wednesday, October 16. Participants will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Arlington Temple United Methodist Church (1835 N. Nash St.) for a one-mile walk through the streets of Rosslyn. Guided by A-SPAN case managers and outreach workers, walkers will learn about A-SPAN’s programs to help homeless people. Afterwards, they will reconvene at Arlington Temple for lunch provided by Rosslyn restaurants.
