Making a Difference

Rosslyn Renaissance works to (1) promote and market Rosslyn (2) serve as an information clearinghouse on development and (3) help implement the vision of the Rosslyn Area Plan Addendum, a blueprint for Rosslyn that was approved by the Arlington County Board in 1992.

With the guidance of its professionally-staffed Urban Design Committee, RR is involved in the review and refinement of all major development projects, public art installations, Metro Station renovations, signage systems and improved streetscapes. In recent years, RR’s work in this area has resulted in an observation deck at Central Place, a pedestrian esplanade to Key Bridge, an outdoor café at Turnberry Tower, and 98 affordable housing units under construction at Rosslyn Ridge.

RR’s Property Managers Committee deals with emergency preparedness, County permits and services, and commercial leasing, among other matters.

RR keeps the community informed about its activities through its ROSSLYN magazine,  “Rooms with a View” lecture series, annual meeting,  the Real Estate Bus Tour, and committee meetings.
