This Major Site Plan Amendment by Monday Properties proposes to incorporate 1850 N. Moore Street development into an existing site plan. The applicant requested a rezoning from C-O to C-O-Rosslyn, which allows a 10.0 Floor Area Ratio in exchange for significant community benefits. The plan includes retaining the existing power station and surrounding it with an architectural treatment. A 384 ft tall office tower with approximately 12,000 sq. feet of retail at the ground level is proposed on the site between the power station and the Metro station. The building will feature a public pedestrian walk-through lobby between N. Ft. Myer Drive and N. Moore Street. Interior and facade enhancements are proposed for the Metro station entrance and upper floor. The project was approved by the County Board on December 15th, 2007.

The Community Benefit package includes a donation to Arlington County of the former Newseum space for 10 years, allowing use of the 57,000 square foot space rent-free. Rosslyn Renaissance is involved in the post-approval plans for use of this space.
