Rosslyn BID

In 2001, Rosslyn property owners affiliated with it's sister organization, Rosslyn Renaissance worked with the local business community and Arlington County government to create another economic development tool — a business improvement district. Today, the BID runs a number of community events initiated by RR.

The Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID), which started operations in 2003, provides services designed to make Rosslyn an exciting, urbane commercial center. Funded by a special tax paid by property owners in the 17-block commercial office core, the work program includes:

  • Urban Design
  • Beautification & Streetscape Enhancement
  • Ambassadors
  • Transportation, Parking & Retail
  • Homeless Services
  • Community Events
  • Marketing & Promotion
  • Finance
  • Officers & Board
