The Thomas Nelson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) located in Arlington, VA is collecting donated items to include in care packages that will be sent to military service members who have deployed to Fort McGuire, NJ to help with the evacuees arriving from Afghanistan.
A representative from the chapter will be attending the Rosslyn Farmers Market on Wednesday, September 8, 4:30-7 p.m. to collect donations.
Items they are asking for include:
