Designed and brought to life by the Rosslyn BID and its partners, the NOW — named for its location at Nash, Oak, and Wilson — is a temporary pop-up park that bridges today and tomorrow, transforming a once-passive terrace into a vibrant outdoor destination for community activity.

🪴 Grow

An interactive urban garden with native plants, pollinator-friendly beds, hand-painted rain barrels, and plots tended by local partners.

🐾 Paws

Sustainability & Biophilic Design

The NOW reflects Rosslyn’s commitment to sustainable urban placemaking. By activating underutilized space and incorporating seasonal plantings and adaptable materials, the park supports environmental responsibility while enhancing the public realm.

Nominated for a DESIGNArlington Award in 2025 for its design excellence in Arlington’s built environment, the NOW continues to be recognized as a project that has elevated a transitional site into a space that feels not only cohesive, but welcoming.
