  Rosslyn Events

Gear up for the second weekend of the Rosslyn Flower Market and join the bartender crew at Salt for a virtual cocktail demonstration on Thursday, April 29 at 6 p.m. This demo will have a special focus on herbs, so don't forget to grab some fresh from the Rosslyn Flower Market on Saturday, April 24!

Register here

You'll have the option to choose between two cocktails to mix at home, with each kit including enough ingredients to make four cocktails. The demo is free to view, but if you'd like to follow along with the bartender's specific ingredients, your preferred cocktail kit must be purchased and picked-up by 5 p.m. the day of the event, April 29, from Open Road (1201 Wilson Blvd). Space is limited, so please register by Monday, April 26.

Both of the below cocktails will be demonstrated on a pre-recorded video:

So Fresh & So Green | $30
  • Basil-pineapple gomme syrup, fresh lemon, St. Germain, Haymans Old Tom Cat gin, five basil leaves
We Found The Cure | $30
  • Cucumbers, fresh lemon, honey syrup, beet-lemon shrub, Bar Hill Tom Cat gin

Participants must place cocktail orders at least 24-hours ahead of their pickup time. Per VABC regulations, cocktail kit purchases are only available with a food purchase from Open Road, and customers must be at least 21 years of age. Directions for ordering and the Zoom link will be emailed prior to the event!

Note that the Rosslyn BID is taking measures to help ensure the health and safety of Flower Market visitors, and ask that you pre-register for the Flower Market (max capacity of 40 guests in the space at all times, walk-in's are welcome if space permits!) and review current guidance from Arlington County surrounding COVID-19 before attending.
Don’t forget to wear a mask and practice physical distancing, and if you’re feeling sick or experiencing any coronavirus symptoms, please stay home!
