WalkArlington, in partnership with the National Park Service (NPS), presents a guided hike on Theodore Roosevelt Island with a member of the NPS team. Go on a history and nature walk, covering Theodore Roosevelt’s life, legacy, the overall story of the island, habitats, and flora and fauna.

Theodore Roosevelt Island is accessible via a medium-length (20-30 min.), downhill walk from the Rosslyn Metro. It is accessible via bike and the Mount Vernon Trail. There is also a Capital Bikeshare station on the island. Visit CarFreeAtoZ for trip planning information.

This walk is free but space is limited.
