Join Arlington National Cemetery’s professional historians and horticulturists for a special joint walking tour! This tour will teach visitors how the cemetery’s Memorial Arboretum honors the history of our nation’s service members. It will highlight how trees, plants, and landscaping elements add another layer of meaning to the graves and memorials at Arlington. The tour will include stops at key sites where this concept can be explored, including the Kennedy family gravesites, Tanner Amphitheater, and the grounds around Memorial Amphitheater.
This tour will include walking over uneven terrain. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. This tour will take place rain or shine—please dress appropriately for the weather, bring plenty of water, and wear a hat. Recommended for people ages 10 and up. This tour is free and open to the public. No registration is required.

Those interested in attending will meet inside the ANC Welcome Center, at 1 Memorial Ave., Fort Myer, VA, 22211. The tour will depart from the Welcome Center at 9:00 am.
