WalkArlington is celebrating National Walking Day by kicking their regular social walk up a notch and partnering with Arlington Transportation Partners and Heavy Seas Alehouse to bring you an evening walk and happy hour. It’s a new way to share the walking love in addition to the lunchtime National Walking Day pit stops around Arlington.
They’ll start the evening celebration with a short stroll around one of Arlington’s most walkable neighborhoods—Rosslyn—and see the Deep Throat garage, Gateway Park and Dark Star Park. You’ll get to know your neighbors, experience the sights of Rosslyn by foot, and enjoy all the benefits of an evening stroll.
The walk will end with a happy hour at Heavy Seas Alehouse, which is providing complimentary appetizers and happy hour specials.
The walk will begin at 6:30 at Heavy Seas and last until 7 p.m. The happy hour at Heavy Seas is open to all from 6-9 p.m., even if you can’t make it for the walk. Walk on by!
