Join Friends of Mount Vernon Trail for a casual paced 8 mile bike ride to visit three of our favorite tulip patches on and near the Mount Vernon Trail. The route will be mostly on trails with multiple ride leaders. The group will stop at three sites with time to get off the bike and take pictures. Stops include the Navy and Marine Memorial, the Pentagon, and the Netherlands Carillon.
The ride will begin at Compass Coffee in Rosslyn and end at the Netherlands Carillon where there will be a Tulip Festival that includes a carillon concert and activities with NPS and the Arlington County Library.
Ticket proceeds support our work to improve the Mount Vernon Trail. Due to high interest, registration will be limited. Please register to confirm attendance.
Please note that this is the Tulip BIKE RIDE, there is a separate registration for the Tulip WALK which is going to start at the same time and location.
