Rosslyn Jazz Fest 2023: Know Before You Go!

You got questions? The Rosslyn BID has answers! Read on to learn more about the do's, don'ts, tips, and tricks to make your Rosslyn Jazz Fest experience great this Saturday, Sept. 9 at Gateway Park.

GETTING TO JAZZ FEST

Parking

Parking at Rosslyn Jazz Fest is limited, so we strongly encourage you to take one of the many modes of public transportation that run through Rosslyn!

If you do plan to drive, parking will be available for $5 (CASH ONLY) at the Atlantic Garage (entrance on N. Moore next to Continental Beer Garden). On the event day, the garage will be open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. There is also paid street parking throughout the neighborhood.

Please note the following road closures from approximately 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sept. 9:

  • EB Langston Boulevard from Fort Myer Drive to N. Moore Street
  • Fort Myer Drive access road from 19th Street N. to N. Moore Street

Public Transportation

The Rosslyn Metro Station is less than a 5-minute walk to Gateway Park, and is served by the Orange, Silver, and Blue Metro lines. There are also numerous buses, including the Arlington ART, Metrobus and D.C. Circulator, that make stops close to the park! Find more public transportation information, including routes and timing, here.

Rideshare

We recommend marking your drop-off location as Happy Eatery or &pizza (1800 N. Lynn). Both are just one block south of Gateway Park and avoid day-of festival road closures.

Biking, Walking, and More!

For a personal-powered option to get to Jazz Fest, grab a bike from Capital Bikeshare and dock at one of our many area bike racks. Rosslyn is also accessible via the Mount Vernon and Custis Trails, making it easy to bike, run, walk, or roll your way to Jazz Fest!
