Summertime is here, and we're gearing up for tons of outdoor fun in Rosslyn! Join us all season long for live performances, movie nights, meetups, and more to take advantage of getting out and about in the neighborhood.

Jazz Fest | Saturday, Sept. 10
Rosslyn Jazz Fest is back for its milestone anniversary! Saturday, September 10, we're bringing a diverse lineup of four fantastic acts to the stage at Gateway Park for an afternoon of food, music, and fun in partnership with Arlington Arts.
Billboard-recognized and world-renowned Cimafunk will headline this year’s outdoor music festival, and Mwenso & The Shakes, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, and Groove Orchestra will round out the full lineup.
FRESHFARM Farmers Market | Wednesdays through Oct. 26
Shop local and fresh every week from May through October in downtown Rosslyn! The market is open every Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at Central Place Plaza, brought to you in partnership with FRESHFARM, a non-profit that promotes sustainable agriculture and improves food access and equity in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Rosslyn Cinema | Fridays in June
Rosslyn Cinema was back on the lawn at Gateway Park! e hope you joined us Friday evenings in June for a fun summer lineup of your favorite movies, voted by you in our March Madness movie bracket! The movies ranged from kids animated movies to the perfect date night rom-com and even adventure, so there was a genre for everyone.
We had a variety of drinks for sale starting at 5 p.m., and different food trucks throughout the series. You were able to get food on-site, or pick up from any local Rosslyn restaurants and grab the perfect spot on the lawn to enjoy the evening! Movies began approximately at sundown.

Pride Singles Meetup | Wednesday, June 22
In honor of Pride Month, the Rosslyn BID partnered with DC Fray and Assembly to bring you an LGBTQ+ Singles Meetup on Wednesday, June 22, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Assembly Food Hall!
Participants enjoyed a fun evening of ice breaker games and music while getting to know someone new. Upon arrival, we provided one complimentary welcome drink to get the fun started! Assembly also offered their happy hour menu and pricing until 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event benefited a local LGBTQ+ organization.
Rosslyn LIVE! | Thursday, July 21
Join us this July for an outdoor performance series at Gateway Park for you and your family to enjoy! Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the performances will start at 8 p.m., with refreshments and food available for purchase.
Ticket pricing is based on the seating type, so make sure to sign up soon for your preferred spot for viewing!
On Thursday, July 21, with Synetic Theater, performed their immersive take of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This playful adaptation of Shakespeare’s timeless comedy features Synetic’s trademark wordless storytelling.
Rosslyn Rocks | Thursdays, July 7, 14, & 28
Join us to welcome back outdoor concerts at Central Place Plaza! On Thursdays, July 7 and 14, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. there will be live music and fun games on the plaza. You can also grab a refreshment at our cash bar, which offers beer, wine, soda, water and juice.
This event is free and open to the public, so come and enjoy a summer night with music, drinks, and if you're hungry, a meal from one of our Rosslyn restaurants for takeout!
Morgan Lynsey Band hit the stage on July 7 with a mix of energetic country/pop and rock ‘n roll, and husband and wife duo Blair’s West performed the following week on July 14 with hits of every decade and a touch of Tennessee twang. To round out the series on July 28, Stonebrook brought a jam-rockin' good time!
