Located just off the lobby of the Hyatt Centric hotel, Key Bridge Terrace (KBT) is is the embodiment of a sophisticated, metropolitan lounge with understated elegance and an inviting "living room style" ambiance.
The indoor cafe portion is open for breakfast, happy hour and dinner. It's a great choice for a quiet breakfast meeting over light fare and Starbucks coffee. After work, come by for happy hour, which is offered weekdays from 5-7 p.m. Relax on the outdoor terrace and enjoy people-watching as you sip your craft cocktail, wine or microbrew (the bar stocks at least 12 of them). Among the many appealing cocktails on the bar menu are a chocolate & coconut martini, an apple- cider sangria and a pear mimosa. The bar also has an impressive array of spirits.
If you're in the mood for more than small plates, you can order dinner, which is prepared by the same kitchen that staffs the hotel's elegant cityhouse restaurant.
The menu revolves around fresh, locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Many of KBT's dishes are from the cityhouse menu, enabling you to enjoy a bit of fine dining in a more casual setting. We've sampled most of the dishes on the fall/winter menu. Everything is delicious, and it's hard to go wrong. Our favorites, though, are the butternut squash ravioli appetizer, the salmon BLT, the boursin French dip, the Blue Italian and veggie flatbreads, and the matzo ball soup. You can read more about our experience tasting these dishes here. You can also come to KBT to enjoy coffee and dessert.
