Our beloved winter mascot, Cheerio, is defrosting for the season and is ready to spread holiday cheer around Rosslyn! 

He’s excited to explore the neighborhood again, but needs friends to accompany him. Play our Find Cheerio game from Dec. 2-18 to join in the fun! You'll have six chances to win a $50 restaurant gift card and your own Cheerio plushie.

Here's how the game works: 

  1. Each Tuesday and Thursday (Dec. 2, 4, 9, 11, 16, and 18) a small Cheerio penguin figurine will be hidden somewhere in Rosslyn. 
  2. A hint about the location will be posted at 10 a.m. on the @RosslynVA Instagram story and Facebook story. If Cheerio isn't found by 11 a.m., we'll post an extra hint to help you. 
  3. Be the first to find Cheerio, snap a picture with him, and post it on your Instagram or Facebook Story. Tag @RosslynVA, make sure you're following us, and have a public profile so we can see your entry and confirm you as the winner. We'll post when there's a winner each day so you know Cheerio has been found. 
  4. If you win, we'll reach out to you via social media DM with details on how to pick up your prize. 

Please note: participants are only allowed to win once throughout the game. In the event of a tie, we will use notification timestamps to select a winner.
