Thank you for making the first virtual Rosslyn City Social such a success!
Rosslyn’s annual celebration might have looked different this year, but that didn’t stop our community from coming together to make this year’s virtual event one for the books! For those of you who couldn’t join us, BID President (and our fearless leader!) Mary-Claire Burick hosted an evening of giveaways, thoughtful conversations and previews of what’s on the horizon for Rosslyn, and we all discovered what makes Rosslyn the key to it all.
Over the course of the event, we listened in on discussions with prominent local executives from Washington Business Journal, Microsoft, Nestle, UVA Darden and Grant Thornton. Through a fireside chat and in-depth panel discussion, we heard from the experts on the return to the office and the future of the workplace, in Rosslyn and across the region. We also took a look at the exciting developments that will shape our iconic skyline in the coming years.
Throughout City Social, participants chatted with each other and took fun polls about what we love about the neighborhood. The “Rosslyn Fun” section was also chock-full of challenges for attendees to answer for points, with a few lucky raffle winners taking home gift cards to local restaurants!
We even spotlighted our neighborhood restaurants and chefs that make Rosslyn our favorite place to dine, including Toryumon, Barley Mac, Open Road & Sfoglina. DMV Restaurateur Mike Cordero even made a cameo appearance!
Thank you all for joining us for a celebration of the people, businesses and places that make Rosslyn a wonderful place to live, work, eat and visit! We at the Rosslyn BID are so glad you could join us in making this one of our favorite City Socials yet, and if you couldn’t join in on the fun, check out the recording of the full event below. We’ll see you next year!
