Football season is here!

Watch your favorite teams square off at several Rosslyn restaurants

Fall brings with it a lot more than foliage, cozy sweaters and a reason to indulge in comfort food and dark beer. For many, it means it's football season! Whether you're a die-hard Redskins fan, are loyal to the Eagles, or prefer to watch college games, Rosslyn is the perfect place to enjoy high-energy viewing at several neighborhood bars, restaurants and even a coffee shop. Read on for details of the best places to watch football this season.

Barley Mac in Upper Rosslyn shows all regular-season games. The sleek bar is a great spot to enjoy cocktails and tasty apps while watching the game.

Barley Mac

At Barley Mac, you can catch all regular-season games, including those not being broadcast by local affiliates, so you can be sure to see your favorite team. The industrial chic restaurant has a spacious bar area where you can enjoy cocktails, wine, beer and a great selection of bourbons while munching on delicious apps or Sunday brunch, which is served until 3:30 p.m.

Central Coffee

Located on North Moore St. close to the heart of Rosslyn, Central Coffee is a comfortable spot to watch football with your friends. Last summer, owner Mehmet Coskun invested in a huge flat-screen T.V. so he'd be able to show World Cup soccer. The T.V. still occupies the back corner of the shop, and Mehmet says he's been tuning in to football games this fall. Watch the games in one of Central Coffee's soft chairs while you sip your latte and enjoy sandwiches and light snacks. In the evenings, Central Coffee serves a great selection of beer and wine, as well. This place has some of the best happy-hour pricing in the neighborhood and a wonderful, welcoming vibe.

Heavy Seas Alehouse

Indulge in an outstanding selection of freshly brewed craft beers from Heavy Seas Brewery in Baltimore, Md., while you watch the game at their Rosslyn restaurant. Heavy Seas shows local games. On weekends, you can get a growler refill with the purchase of your food. Plus, Heavy Seas has happy hour every day of the week from 3-7 p.m. On Monday nights, take advantage of Burger & Brew Monday while you watch the game: You'll enjoy a weekly burger creation paired with a pint of beer for $12.50.

Key Bridge Terrace (Hyatt Centric)

Key Bridge Terrace (KBT) lounge is a sophisticated yet relaxed setting to tune in to this season's NFL games. Join them this season and get 50 percent off burgers, wings, pizza and select beers. The food is prepared by the same kitchen that staffs the hotel's elegant cityhouse restaurant, so get ready for a gourmet dining experience! Happy hour is weekdays 5-7 p.m., so you can get great deals on their wings, flatbreads and more while you watch Monday Night Football.

Kona Grill

Kona Grill in Upper Rosslyn broadcasts local games and offers all-day happy hour on Sundays, so you can take advantage of some great deals while you watch the Redskins play. They have great sushi, flatbreads, sliders and cocktails plus a lively atmosphere and lots of T.V.s perfect for tuning in.

Quinn's on the Corner

With 20 flat-screen T.V.s and a great space, Quinn's on the Corner is one of the neighborhood's most popular spots to watch the NFL. Quinn's shows every game on at least one T.V., and on Sundays their popular brunch goes until 5 p.m. so you can enjoy your chicken and waffles and mimosas while you cheer for your favorite team. Monday nights, take advantage of their 50-cent wing deal that starts at 8 p.m.
