Quinn's on the Corner now open in Rosslyn

New bar and restaurant serves Irish and Belgian fare in a relaxed, intimate setting

Offering European-inspired fare and one of the largest selections of Irish whiskey in Arlington and the D.C. region, Quinn's on the Corner is a vibrant new neighborhood pub that recently opened in upper Rosslyn.

Quinn's intimate space, located at 1776 Wilson Boulevard at the corner of North Quinn Street, features indoor seating for 60 people and a patio that seats 23. The menu revolves around Irish and Belgian favorites such as mussels, steak frites, waffles, bangers and mash, and fish and chips, as well as a range of specialty burgers. View menu.

In addition, Quinn’s serves full pints of nine Irish and Belgian draft beers and a range of signature cocktails with house-made mixers from a custom 22-foot oak bar.

Owner Reese Gardner is a Pennsylvania native and graduate of Penn State University who missed his hometown bar scene when he relocated to the D.C. area roughly 12 years ago. Gardner recalled fond memories of going to bars with his dad and watching Pittsburgh Steelers games on TV. In 2009, he opened his first bar on M Street near Dupont Circle in D.C. Called The Mighty Pint, it paid tribute to Gardner's home state and was a popular spot for watching Penn State football.

Since opening his first place, Gardner and his team have opened several other restaurants, including Copperwood Tavern in Shirlington and Ashburn, Dudley's Sport and Ale in Shirlington, and the D.C.-based Irish Whiskey. Gardner is excited to be opening a spot in Rosslyn, which he hopes will become popular with the neighborhood's growing number of residents.

"Rosslyn needs a place for people to relax, have a beer, watch games, and enjoy good food," he says. "Quinn's is focused on providing good service, quality food and quality drinks."

Quinn’s on the Corner is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Happy hour specials are available weekdays 3 to 7 p.m.
