Neighborhood bars + and restaurants are showing the games
We have baseball fever here in Rosslyn and are so excited to watch the Nats take on the Astros! Whether you live or work in the neighborhood, consider sticking around here on game nights to watch on the big screen in some neighborhood bars and restaurants. Several have food and drink specials planned specifically for the World Series!
And as a special treat, on Friday, October 25, you can watch the Washington Nationals take on the Houston Astros on a huge screen in Rosslyn's Freedom Park! There will be ballpark food and drinks for purchase from 7 p.m. until the conclusion of the game. Access the park via the stairs near the CVS located at 1100 Wilson Blvd. (access on Lynn St.). Barley Mac, 1600 Wilson Blvd., will be honoring happy-hour prices during all games. This month's happy-hour specials include a spiked apple cider and a whiskey smash for $7 and red, white and rosé wine for $6. View their happy-hour menu here.
Continental, 1911 N. Ft. Myer Drive, will be offering specials on beer pitchers, including Bud Light, Blue Moon, Shiner Bock, Yuengling and Brothers Hoptimization. Specials start one hour before games and end one hour after. View their happy-hour menu here.
Key Bridge Terrace, 1325 Wilson Blvd., has a special World Series Menu to celebrate the Nats! Enjoy 1/2-price select local drafts (Devil's Backbone Vienna Lager, Smartmouth Safety Dance Pilsner and Fordham Dominion Candi Belgian Tripel) and 1/2-price select appetizers (Buffalo or Chesapeake dry rub chicken wings, margherita pizza or flatbread, Mexican pizza or flatbread, and parmesan truffle fries). These offers are available during gametime only in Key Bridge Terrace, which is located just off the lobby of Hyatt Centric Arlington.
Quinn's on the Corner, 1776 Wilson Blvd., will have giveaways during every World Series game: free Jell-O shots after the first pitch, a raffle for a $50 gift card in the middle of the 4th inning and a raffle for Nationals players bobbleheads at the 7th inning stretch!
Rhodeside Grill, 1836 Wilson Blvd., will be showing the games and will have happy-hour specials until 7 p.m. that include $4 drafts and $6 signature cocktails. They will also have dinner specials available after 5 p.m. Check out their menu here.
