Kick Off Your ‘Summer in Rosslyn’ with Rosslyn BID’s Newest Event Series

Celebrate the Season with Cornhole, Outdoor Movies, and More!

With high temps and flip-flops around the corner, there’s no better way to start enjoying your summer than outdoors in Rosslyn! The Rosslyn BID is hosting a full schedule of activities throughout the summer with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the best of Rosslyn with family and friends. The Summer in Rosslyn series will feature weekly and daily events ranging from a competitive cornhole competition to a relaxing farmers market!

The Rosslyn BID is hosting ongoing events like the first-ever Rosslyn Rivals Cornhole Series with DC Fray and the continuation of the weekly FRESHFARM Farmers Market. Don’t miss the remaining Rosslyn Cinema nights in Gateway Park, voted best outdoor movie screening spot by Northern Virginia Magazine, with Wonder Woman 1984 and Cool Runnings the last two Fridays in June. The Rosslyn BID will also help you plan the perfect DIY summer staycation experience to enjoy the neighborhood with a whole week of special giveaways to everyone’s favorite local restaurants and businesses.

Rosslyn Cinema

  • Friday, June 18 and 25 | 7:15 - 10 p.m.
  • Space is limited, and reservations will open the Wednesday before each movie showing, so be sure to sign up for the BID’s newsletter to be the first to know!

FreshFarm Farmers Market

  • Central Place Plaza | 1800 N Lynn St., Arlington, VA 22209
  • Wednesdays through October | 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Rosslyn Rivals: Cornhole Series

  • 1401 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22209
  • July 14 - August 11
  • Wednesdays | 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
  • Cornhole is free and open to all ages (and skill levels!)
  • Participants should register in advance via Eventbrite (link coming soon!)

Summer Staycation  

  • August 9 - August 15
