Ring in your New Year's 'Rossolutions' with the Rosslyn BID's new wellness series

Stick to Your Resolutions with Free Live Fitness Classes, Cooking Demonstrations, Giveaways, and More!

WHAT: A new year means new resolutions, and the Rosslyn BID wants to help you keep them! Starting this month, join the Rosslyn BID for a series of free virtual workshops and locally-sourced giveaways that are sure to inspire you to live your best life. Located in “America’s Fittest City”, Rosslyn has 49 miles of hiking or biking trails and approximately 53 acres of open, park spaces acres of outdoor space making it an ideal place to stay fit. The virtual wellness series, beginning January 19, will feature workshops from local wellness experts on avoiding work burnout, live fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, giveaways, and more!

WHEN/WHERE: Rosslyn Rossolutions will take place via Zoom on select dates between January 19 to February 12.

    • Avoiding work burnout is critical to overall well-being whether you’re in the office or working remotely. With this webinar, you’ll learn to foster a positive work-life balance with board-certified psychiatrist, acupuncturist, and yoga teacher, Dr. Ellen Vora.

  • A Fit-Focused New Year With Anytime Fitness!
    • January 27 | 5:30 - 6:00 pm
    • Join personal trainer Peter O’Shanick of Rosslyn’s Anytime Fitness for a live 30-minute virtual exercise session, where you’ll learn new exercises you can do from home or wherever you prefer to feel the burn! Participants will also be entered into a raffle for the chance to win one free month (including two full training sessions) at Rosslyn’s Anytime Fitness.

  • Eat Well, Feel Well!
    • Week of February 1
    • Find the balance between physical and mental health with an interactive cooking demonstration with a local Rosslyn chef. This demo will focus on nutrition while teaching participants to take a holistic approach in self-care, helping you give your body the tools it needs to thrive inside and out in the new year.

  • All You Need Is Love!
    • Week of February 8
    • This three-part activation will focus on strengthening your connection with friends and loved ones, supporting neighborhood businesses and getting ready for Valentine’s Day. This week of love will include an outdoor pop-up, a virtual cocktail demonstration, and a Valentine’s card-making demonstration for your sweetheart (or your Galentine!).
