Rosslyn Welcomes Spring with “Rosslyn Refresh” and the Return of Outdoor Office, O2

The Rosslyn BID Announces an Array of New Outdoor Activities Throughout the Neighborhood!

With warmer weather on the way, there’s no better place to take advantage of blue skies and be productive than Rosslyn! This Spring, the Rosslyn BID is launching “Rosslyn Refresh,” a campaign focused on helping Rosslyn’s residents, employees, and visitors safely get outside with events and opportunities in Rosslyn. With public parks, including a brand-new dog park, weekend flower markets, and the return of the outdoor office, O2, Rosslyn has everything participants need to shake off the winter blues, reconnect with the community, and even get a healthy dose of vitamin D.

To kick-off Rosslyn Refresh, the Rosslyn BID invites the community back to its one-of-a-kind outdoor office, O2, on April 13. O2 has everything you need to work safely outdoors and get back to blue-sky thinking. O2 features over 20 socially distanced standing and seated desks, fully equipped with outlets and the office supplies needed to comfortably work outside. The free office space offers an inspiring atmosphere for employees looking to come back to the neighborhood or anyone in the DMV area needing a break from their home office routine, all just steps away from over 50 miles of walking and biking trails, local restaurants, and retailers.

Looking to fit in a workout before heading back home? Break a sweat at one of the BID’s many fitness classes in the best outdoor gym around – Gateway Park! Need to stop for fresh produce and seasonal treats? Rosslyn’s farmer’s market is coming back to Central Place Plaza on May 5. Rosslyn Refresh will also introduce the neighborhood’s first fresh flower market, and a chance to win a staycation package for two!

Rosslyn Staycation

  • April 4 - April 10
  • The Rosslyn Staycation guide and contest highlights how to spend a two-day, one-night staycation in Rosslyn, filled with a date night, pampering, art walks, and plenty of vitamin D! Make sure to follow the BID on Instagram (@rosslynva) so you don’t miss the opportunity to win a staycation package or daily raffle prizes!

O2: Outdoor Office

  • Gateway Park | 1300 Lee Hwy., Arlington, VA 22209
  • April 13 - April 30
    • Tuesday - Thursday | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (weather permitting)
  • May 4- June 11
    • Tuesday - Friday | 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. (weather permitting)
  • Reservations for O2 will be available in 90-minute blocks at o2.rosslynva.org. Guests can register in advance or walk-in if space is available. Want to use your workstation for longer than 90-minutes? No problem! Simply register for consecutive time blocks in your same space, and you will be allowed to stay at your workstation during the cleaning break.

Rosslyn Bootcamp

Rosslyn Flower Market

  • With spring in full bloom, the Rosslyn BID will host a series of in-person and virtual events with local vendors to celebrate the season. More details to come!

FRESHFARM Farmers Market
