Give back at the Holiday Clothing Drive

Clear out your closet while you give back this holiday season with our annual Holiday Clothing Drive! Since 2011, this drive has benefited our friends at PathForward, a local organization dedicated to ending homelessness in Arlington.
Dozens of donation boxes were set up in buildings across the Rosslyn neighborhood, where you could drop off adult-sized, gently used winter coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, and gloves in plastic bags. We are proud to share that 243 bags of clothes were collected at the conclusion of the drive!

Cheerio is back for the holidays, and he has an appetite! He’ll be hanging out by local restaurants taking in all the classics and discovering our new restaurants. Play our Feed Cheerio game to keep our penguin happy and for a chance at a $50 restaurant gift card and a Cheerio plushie of your own!
Catch a movie at Rosslyn Cinema: Holiday Special
Bennett Park Art Atrium | Wednesday, Dec. 7 | 6 p.m.
Kick off the holiday season with an indoor screening of Elf! Enjoy delicious popcorn and free hot chocolate while kicking back and relaxing at this warm and cozy evening of fun. After all, the best way to spread (Rosslyn) Cheer is singing loud for all to hear as you enjoy this holiday classic!
This event is free, but capacity is limited so registration is required.
Rosslyn Cinema: Holiday Special Details
Brighten your week at our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
Central Place Plaza | Thursday, Dec. 8 | 5 p.m.
One of our favorite holiday season traditions returns Dec. 8 — the Rosslyn Tree Lighting! Join us live on the Plaza for music from the H-B Woodlawn choir, raffle prizes up to $100 in value, festive fun, and more. Beginning at 5 p.m., the evening will also include an on-site beer, wine, and spiked cider bar from Open Road!
Watch with us on the Plaza or tune in from home! Good Morning Washington’s Kidd O’Shea will be there to help us count down live on air with ABC7. Get in the spirit with your furry friends at Santa Paws Yappy Hour
Central Place Plaza | Friday, Dec. 9 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Rosslyn’s holiday festivities will continue on Friday, Dec. 9 with a dog-friendly evening! Bring your furry friends out to Central Place Plaza to enjoy pictures with Santa and pet goody giveaways. Happy Hour, which runs from 5-7 p.m., will include beer, wine, and spiked cider to warm you up, while your pup can enjoy a puppucino or bone broth!
Dog-friendly vendor tables will be on-site as well to provide fun activities for you and your pets!

Central Place Plaza | Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
We're bringing two days of local vendors, festive drinks, photo ops with Santa and more! The celebrations continue on the Plaza with activities you and the whole family will love. Browse a variety of unique local vendors for the perfect gift for everyone on your holiday shopping list.
Santa himself will join us on the Plaza for photo ops, and we'll be serving free hot chocolate to keep you warm throughout the day.
