Flower Cart Giveaways | April 20 & 26
Gear up for Rosslyn’s Flower Market Weekends and get in the spring spirit with these special giveaways throughout the neighborhood! On April 20 & 26, you’ll find the Rosslyn Flower Cart, stationed by the Rosslyn Trike, around the neighborhood filled with a mixture of flowers for you to take home, completely free of charge!
These giveaways are first come, first serve (roughly 60 items available per day), and a Rosslyn BID Ambassador will be onsite to answer any questions and ensure a clean, safe distribution process. More details to come!
Earth Day Happy Hour | Friday, April 22
Join us from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Central Place Plaza for a happy hour to kick off our flower market weekends! There will be a bar hosted by Open Road, including specialty floral cocktails to celebrate Earth Day and get you in the spring mood, as well as beer and wine for purchase.
During the happy hour, there will also be live music, vendor booths from Arlington Friends of Urban Agriculture and Save the B, and an opportunity to get your own mini terracotta pot! This giveaway is free, but is limited to the first 30 people, so be sure to arrive early!
Flower Market | Saturdays, April 23, April 30, May 7
It’s beginning to feel a lot like spring! Join us Saturdays, April 23, April 30, and May 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to check out 12 vendors each day with a wide selection of goods and services.
Ranging from fresh flower bouquets to natural bath and body products (and even nuts and chocolates!), you will have the chance to shop around for all your favorite items to get ready for the new season!
This is the perfect opportunity to get a unique, locally produced gift for yourself, or for someone special. (Psst…Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8!) Visit our vendors page for more information on the selections that will be available each date.
We're also offering free small potted plants to visitors who show proof of a receipt for a Rosslyn Restaurant of $5 or more between April 18 and May 7, while supplies last! Simply visit the Rosslyn BID table at the market to claim your plant, while supplies last! If you don't have a receipt, you can still purchase these small plants for $2 each.
All three Saturdays will include fun activities and special plant-themed giveaways at the BID table for the first 50 people to arrive, so come out early!
