Rosslyn Rocks at Central Place Plaza
Join us to welcome back outdoor concerts at Central Place Plaza! On Thursdays, July 7 and 14, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. there will be live music and fun games on the plaza. You can also grab a refreshment at our cash bar, which offers a variety of beer, wine, soda, water and juice.
This event is free and open to the public, so come and enjoy a summer night with music, drinks, and if you're hungry, a meal from one of our Rosslyn restaurants for takeout!
Morgan Lynsey Band | July 7
Morgan Lynsey Band's sound is a mix of energetic country/pop and rock ‘n roll. From the classics, to 90’s country, today’s pop-country hits, and a mix of Morgan Lynsey originals, this band will have you singing along and dancing the night away! They are guaranteed to be a welcoming and energizing experience that won’t disappoint!
Blair's West | July 14
Blair’s West was formed out of love by husband-and-wife duo, Beau and Blair, and has grown into one of the top roots rock party bands in the region.
Their formative years in Nashville were spent touring the world with country megastars and refining their craft in the Honkytonks of Broadway. The passion they put into playing covers for 8+ hours a day led to unique takes on classic songs and an unmatched energy and crowd interaction.
From The Beatles to the Eagles, Bon Jovi to Zac Brown, and Maren Morris to Merle Haggard, they fill the dance floor with their surprising sets of eclectic hits. Get ready to hear hits of every decade delivered with a touch Tennessee twang and irresistible enthusiasm!
Rosslyn LIVE at Gateway Park
Join us this July for an outdoor performance series at Gateway Park for you and your family to enjoy! Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the performances will start at 8 p.m., with refreshments and food available for purchase. Ticket pricing is based on seating zone and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis in each area.
Synetic Theater | Thursday, July 21
On Thursday, July 21, Synetic Theater kick off Rosslyn LIVE by performing their immersive take of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
This playful adaptation of Shakespeare’s timeless comedy features Synetic’s trademark wordless storytelling. This fantastical, darkly playful game of love, mistaken identity, and the supernatural was honored with nine Helen Hayes Award Nominations when it was first produced in 2010, taking home the award for Outstanding Ensemble and Outstanding Resident Play. Since then, the production has performed to great acclaim in 2013 and 2015, and toured Mexico for the 2014 Festival International.
2000s Dance Party with So Fetch | Thursday, July 28
Prepare to get grooving with your favorite 2000s hits performed by So Fetch, DC’s supreme 2000s tribute band! Remember your on-the-go playlist on your first generation iPod? The number one spot on TRL back when Carson was dating Tara Reid? So Fetch has them covered, and more!
From Avril to Outkast, from Blink to Beyonce, from Kanye to Ke$ha, to that song you liked from the OC. Break out your low-rise jeans, pause High School Musical, and take a break from Guitar Hero. Edward, Jacob, Paris, and Nicole are all coming. Your UGGs, popped collars, and trucker hats are welcome here, because So Fetch IS happening.
